STORY
From the field to the boardroom.
I moved straight into professional rugby at 18 and spent four years in high-performance environments — experiencing championship squads with the Hurricanes and Wellington Lions, a junior rugby world cup campaign, and five major surgeries that ended the journey earlier than I planned.
What sport taught me, I brought into my professional career: perform under pressure, find comfort in the need to adapt, and harness your team's skillsets to achieve the desired outcome. I finished a Commerce degree while competing full-time, then took that discipline into business transformation at Deloitte.
Since then I've led change on national health and education programmes, designed operating models for government entities, and built global learning platforms and resources.
